Calvin Coolidge, the first US President to do a radio address 2-22-1924

Today in 1924, Calvin Cooldige became the first president to do a radio address . Although his 1924 address doesn't appear to be in existence, please enjoy a short 1928 excerpt of Coolidge bestowing a medal on Charles Lindberg. Coolidge went on to help create the Federal Radio Commission a few days later. It later became known as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

OTRCAT, a great tool to get through the Fourth Turning

 By Kurt Hurner Thomas Jefferson wrote to James Madison, “It may be proved that no society can make a perpetual constitution, or even a perpetual law.  The earth belongs always to the living generations.  They may manage it then, and what proceeds from it, as they please, during their usufruct.  They are masters too of their own persons,  and consequently may govern them as they please.”  Are we facing a fourth turning where from 1940 to 1981 we lived in a more FDR style liberal society only to have from 1981 to the Present a more Reagan style conservative society ?  Is it time for a 1940 to 1981 style society after the 2022 Midterms?
